About Our School : School Background
New Earswick Primary School is a voluntary aided, undenominational, mixed day school maintained by the City of York Council and the Joseph Rowntree Trust. It was established in 1912 to serve the village of New Earswick and has no affiliation with any particular religious denomination. There will be approximately 230 pupils on roll this year.
The school is situated in the village centre, close to the main road. Teaching accommodation comprises of 10 classrooms in the main building and 3 further classrooms outside. The school also has a large hall, computer suite, music room, library, special needs room, infant and junior playgrounds and a large field.
