New Earswick Primary School

To have the best, to do our best, to be the best that we can be.

School Background

New Earswick Primary School is a voluntary aided, undenominational, mixed day school maintained by the City of York Council and the Joseph Rowntree Trust. It was established in 1912 to serve the village of New Earswick and has no affiliation with any particular religious denomination. There will be approximately 210 pupils on roll this year.

We are very proud of our history. Here are some early photos of our school- notice the large windows which were very unusual for schools built at this time.
