Supporting Children at Home with Maths

Year 4

Two men from the Army came to school on Friday and showed us some games where we had to learn to work as a team. We really enjoyed it.

On Tuesday 2nd June it was Young Enterprise day in school. Our class were learning about 'Our Nation.'

These Collages were created in Microsoft Autocollage using Computer Art created in -2Paint a Picture programme. The children created pictures in the style of Van Gogh, using a range of art tools.

Weekly homework tasks


Reading - Read for 15 minutes every day

Try to ask and answer questions about the book you have read.

Timestables - 5 minutes per day

Spellings - Look Cover Write Check sheet

Maths - questions and tables practice

What do I need to remember?

Monday - remember P.E. kit                  

Tuesday - Library visit - remember books to change.

Wednesday - ICT and Art in the afternoon

Thursday - remember recorder/music and P.E. kit

Friday - Maths and spelling homework checked.  New maths and spelling homework distributed. 


Don't forget to practice your times tables and do some reading every day!
